Based out of Virginia; The visionary and mastermind Betty Brister is the Founder and CEO of Chateau Events & Planning, LLC.  You name it, Betty has probably organized it.  Over the past 20 years, she has planned and directed weddings, baby and bridal showers, Sweet 16 parties, reunions, engagements and so much more.   Betty's early creative inspirations came from the time she spent planning several of her family and friends' weddings and special occasions.  Betty's artistic ability allows her the opportunity to support clients to transform their vision into their reality.  Betty takes pride in customization "Each client has their own unique personality that afford their occasion to be one- of- a- kind".

Premier Special Events Consultant, Sherrell Banks-Smiley.  A native New Yorker, she bring her infectious personality to Chateau Events & Planning, LLC. Sherrell’s hard work is also reflected by her success earning her B.A and M.S in Psychology.  She is a perfectionist, dedicated workaholic, and most of all loves providing customer satisfication. With  a keen eye for detail, she creates luxurious and flawless experiences for Chateau Events clients. Sherrell ensures to deliver an unparalleled event planning experience.

With a passion for traveling and the ability to find inspiration where she goes and her love for beautiful things; Meet our Special Events Consultant Shante Wilder.  Shante is passionate about providing quality service to her clients.  She's innovative in her strategic planning for different occasions and brings her passion, personality,  and flair to Chateau Events. 

Meet our Special Event Consultant Jacqueline Barnett.  Jacqueline's passion is fueled by the love behind every memorable event.  She approaches  every event with a fresh perspective and make it her mission to elevate our clients vision to a grand affair.  Jacqeline's meticulous  attention to details ensures that nothing will go unnoticed when she's on the job!!!

Meet our Office Manager Michele Alston who has joins our incredible team of experts. Michele has a passion for people, a creative mindset, a visionary, and a excellent organizer.  Michele has well over 30 years of extensive experience in accounting, business management, and event planning.  Along with her professionalism, leadership qualities and excellent customer service; she is not afraid to color outside of the lines, and always ready for a new challenge.

Michele is bringing all those experiences together to help Chateau Events & Planning LLC to assist with making our client’s dreams become our client’s reality as the office manager behind the daily operations of the business.
